archive of the unmade

Every creative person carries unmade things. Scrapped projects, half-finished sketches, ideas that deserved better timing, songs no one heard. Here, they can rest. Each archival piece will carry three parts: the process, the pause, and the future that might have been. Not to glorify incompletion, but to honor the labor that shaped it. Not as a failure, but as a legitimate creative state.

The archival takes its name from 8/9 in Hindi. ८ (8) represents the infinite time of making, the hours spent circling an idea. ९ (9) represents the moment
just before completion, the threshold you almost reach. The slash (\) between them is where most work actually lives, with integrity.

This is a memorial for those unfinished work.
This is its monument.
